What You Will learn

Throughout your studies with me, we will cover a wide range of guitar skills and music theories. There are some more specialist areas that we will cover, but because every student is different, lesson plans are usually tailored to suit the needs and requirements of each individual.

Ultimately, I want to get you playing proficiently as quickly as possible.

I’ve written music since I started playing (around 14 years ago) so I quite like to incorporate some of that into the lesson mix. But really the lessons are supposed to be as fun as possible because if you enjoy it, so do I. The focus of the guitar lessons is around learning to play songs and incorporating theory and skill development through song as a vehicle.

• Exercises, stretch, speed, & technique

• Finger picking
• Slide work
• Ebow work
• Guitar effects (electric guitar)
• Song writing
• Improvisation
• Grade exams (1-8 rock school exams)
• Style study (Rock, Blues, Reggae, ect)
• Slap & pop (Bassists)
• Equipment maintenance
• Anything else you want!
